Wherefore art thou, Gold 104.5?
I wrote a piece for the Indy Star's In Touch
board this week about Gold 104.5's sudden disappearance from the airwaves, and I got my first piece of reader mail today. Here's the mail:
"I agree with Shawn Plew's comment regarding the loss of "my" radio station.
I was, still am and will continue to be dismayed at the loss of Gold 104.5.
There are plenty of stations in Indy playing the 70s, 80s and 90s format as
it is....we don't need another one. Also, most of us Baby Boomers are at a
time in our lives to be able to spend our dollars with the advertisers that
were on that station.
Since I won't be listening to Jack or any of the other Susquehanna
stations, my 'jack' won't be going to any of their advertisers.
Susquehanna and Steve Cannon, if YOU won't bring the "goldies" back, maybe
some other company will."
Thank GOD other people feel the pain! Now if only Susquehanna would do the right thing and listen to us! Current Mood: cranky
